About Jared

Jared Rogers is the Support Lead at Alii, bringing 15 years of experience in Education Technology. Passionate about helping schools modernise their financial workflows, he understands the challenges of process transformation and works closely with teams to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.

Known for his problem-solving skills and a touch of humour, Jared enjoys collaborating with his team (preferably over a Dirty Chai) and finding innovative ways to support users. Outside of work, he embraces his love for board games, card games, miniatures, and trivia, always ready for the next challenge.

How long have you been in the industry?

I started in Education Technology 15 years ago, working Help Desk for a great school.

‍What’s one financial challenge you see schools struggle with the most?

I feel from my experience that the modernisation processes to update workflows with the goal of keeping pace in today's ultra-fast information age is a challenge, as it is for any large process change.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a school considering AP automation?

My biggest advice is to look at Alii as part of your AP teams tool kit, it is here to enhance the skills and efficiently of your team.

What’s your favourite way to start the workday?

I don’t mean to brag, but my team is great and I enjoy starting the day catching up with them, coffee in hand.

What are your hobbies?

I have a wide range of traditionally ‘nerdy’ hobbies such as board games, card games, miniatures, trivia and video gaming.

What volunteering or passion projects do you do outside of work?

While I’m not out saving the world (yet), I do take my role as game night champion and team comedian seriously. Whether it’s sharing a laugh or a trivia fact, I’m always finding ways to bring a bit of fun to the day.
