We've not only optimised our financial processes but also gained invaluable real-time insights crucial for informed decision-making across all campuses.
Overview
Australian Islamic College (AIC) began its partnership with Alii in 2018 to digitise and automate finance operations. At the time of the original article, AIC supported more than 5,300 students, with campuses in Kewdale, Thornlie, Henley Brook, Adelaide, Forrestdale and Dianella.
For Executive Principal and CEO Abdullah Khan OAM FACEL, the priority was to support this growing footprint with efficient financial processes and timely information for decisions across campuses.
The Challenge
As AIC expanded, its finance operations needed to keep pace. Managing purchasing and accounts payable across a growing campus network required workflows that could accommodate different needs while giving leadership a clear view of financial activity.
The college sought to modernise daily operations through digitisation and automation, with an end-to-end accounts payable and procure-to-pay solution tailored to its requirements. The goal was to improve efficiency and accuracy while building a foundation that could adapt as the organisation grew.
The Results
Through its partnership with Alii, AIC digitised and automated financial processes, giving leadership access to real-time insights to support decisions across campuses.
Alii’s flexible, customisable workflows helped the college develop processes around its operational needs. As AIC expanded, the partnership continued to support its evolving finance requirements, providing a more adaptable foundation for managing purchasing and accounts payable.
